The restoration industry has been engaged in discussions about customized price lists, a significant issue for the past few years. According to the 2022 C&R State of the Industry report, one of the top challenges for those in the restoration field is receiving payment and determining pricing.

Restoration CrossCheck, a consulting firm specializing in the restoration sector, is taking steps to address these concerns by bringing together two experts in Xactimate pricing. Their objective is to educate contractors on various aspects, including setting prices, developing personalized price lists, reviewing estimates, assisting with appraisals, collaborating with adjusters, and more.

In a special episode, Ed Cross introduces the newest addition to the consulting team, Mike Fulton, who formerly served as the president of Verisk Property Estimating Solutions (previously named Xactware). Working alongside pricing expert and fellow consultant Anthony Nelson from Restoration CrossCheck and Pivot My Biz, they discuss:

  1. Their perspective on the new partnership.
  2. Positive outcomes observed as contractors adopt customized pricing.
  3. Recommendations for handling resistance from adjusters.
  4. And many other insightful topics related to pricing and restoration.

Through this collaboration, Restoration CrossCheck aims to provide valuable insights and strategies to help contractors navigate the challenges associated with pricing and payment in the restoration industry.
